This is short and not very important but, LUKE FINISHED WRITING GRIFFIN BLADE AND THE BRONZE FINGER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Happy Valentine's Day! I know that was yesterday, but still. Anyway, I got a comment on the "Maps Page" blog from Christina (thank you). She asked how we made the actual map. Now, it was along time ago so I don't really remember that much, but I know that it was mostly just Luke even though our mom does all the technical stuff. There is some program that allows you to create and customize your own map. And as you can see on the "Maps Page", there was an original sketch. Luke drew that when he was 9, before he started writing the book. There were border lines in the original sketch and the first time I saw the actual map, I asked where they were. Luke had a reason for why he didn't put them in. I guess it's his book so he should decide.
I want to remind you that you can comment on my posts and if you have a question, then I will answer it if I can.
Yeah, I know. I haven't posted anything for a while. But now I am! It's short though. Just an update on where Luke is in terms of finishing Griffin Blade and the Bronze Finger. And he is really close. He said he's in the climax of the climax.
Every once in a while ,I will do a Top Five. Maybe I'll do Top Five Dragon Names or Top Five Cities in Griffin Blade and the Bronze Finger. For this Top Five I am going to do:
TOP FIVE FACTS ABOUT DRAGON VALLEY
5. Black is the youngest dragon...by four seconds
4. When the dragons discovered magic, Ray said 3 good thing about each dragon except for Black and Yellow. He said nothing good about Black and four good things about Yellow
3. There was a mountain lion named Dugwe-quah... Quah ended up being a city in Griffin Blade and the Bronze Finger
2. Purple was once the Most Wanted Patroesamea (the capitol of the dragonflies) Crook
1. Black had almost 3,000 soldiers in the Battle of the Bones
Hello again! I have some big news! We are going to add a new page! It will be all about the maps that Luke puts in his books. We don't have a Griffin Blade map, but we do have an original sketch of it. We also have an original sketch of Dragon Valley. We aren't going to add the Griffin Blade original sketch until the book comes out, because Luke doesn't want to spoil it. The setup of the new page will be this:
(original sketch) (actual map)
(original sketch) (actual map)
For now it will just be the Dragon Valley maps.
Tomorrow is Appreciate a Dragon Day! Comment below and tell me your favorite dragon -- from any book, movie, TV show, or even one that you made up. I encourage you to comment all the time, anyway. You can tell me what you want to hear about like: "Is Luke almost done with his second book?" and "What's his next book after that going to be about?" By the way Luke is super close to finishing Griffin Blade and the Bronze Finger, and I'll tell you what his next book is about when he starts writing it... But yes, I do know what it's about.
Hey, It's Jesse, Luke's little brother...His shadow. I was looking at the site the other day and thought it needed some improvement. So, I took it upon myself to make it BIGGER AND BETTER. I updated the "About Me" page a little bit, and added this "Jesse's Updates" page. Whenever something happens that's exciting or interesting, I'll post a short blog about it. So, I'm going to start the new year (even though we're already almost two weeks in) with some exciting news...Luke is almost done writing Griffin Blade and the Bronze Finger. I have already started editing it, and it should be coming out around Fall of 2014.
